UTV World Movies attracts the elusive Urban up Market Indian seeking a change from both Bollywood and conventional Hollywood. We have a library of over 650 titles cherry picked from 40 countries. Our library includes contemporary, award winning hits like Lives of others, Amelie, The Bands Visit, The Godfather and Counterfeiters. Works of famous directors such as Francois Truffaut, Akiro Kurosawa, Majid Majidi and many others are all available in the channels library.
UTV World Movies offers consumers and advertisers a 360o experience, it has held over 200 film screenings in 8 metros from Jan 2009 to date, it has a 600,000 strong film club in partnership with 70mm. It has hosted Film festivals recently with cultural attaches of countries such as France, Russia and Iran. The channel has also tied up with Shemaroo and launched its titles on Home Video.
