IPO DETAILS

UTV invited bids for their IPO through a book-building process with a price band of 115-130. Price of Rs 130 was arrived at through Book Building.

The company came up with a Public Issue of 6.99 million equity shares comprising 4.5 million fresh equity shares of Rs 10 each and a secondary sale of 2.49 million shares by CDPQ for cash aggregating to approximately Rs 910mn.

Issue was open from 21st February 2005 to 25th February 2005.

The Stock Listed on NSE and BSE on 17th March 2005 and began trade at Rs 165.
