After introducing viewers to the concept of chat shows with Chakravyuh on Zee TV, UTV announced its fiction & non-fiction programmes across channels such as STAR TV, National Geographic, BBC, Hungama TV and Zee TV. Aiming to emerge as one of the top content providers, UTV's past record speaks of programmes across 26 channels in 19 countries and 7 languages, with a library of over 5000 hours of programming.

Offering a host of genres such as Drama, Comedy, Regional themes, Fantasy, Action, Horror, Mythology and children's shows, UTV's Airtime sales' past slate comprises of daily soaps (Kolangal the longest running prime time daily soap on Sun TV, Sravanthi, Megh Sandesham on Gemini TV, Prayanam on Surya TV), game shows (Thiruvalar Thirumathi on Sun TV, Jeevana Sangathi on Udaya TV), children's programme (Ghee Bhoom Bha), news and current affairs' programmes, feature films, live sports etc.
